NX CAE and Simcenter 3D / Professional software for simulation

NX CAE is a group of modern analytical tools that make it possible to perform virtual 3D simulations in a fully integrated environment with NX CAD. Currently, the numerical analyses have been replaced by a separate application Simcenter 3D also integrated with NX CAD.
Simcenter 3D is an innovative analysis environment based on the NX Nastran computing solver, bringing together all areas of numerical analysis in one place. Furthermore Simcenter 3D is also compatible with external simulation applications such as LMS Imagine.lab, Amesim or CD-Adapco (STAR-CMM+).

In the family of NX CAE programs, there is a solution for every person, whether you are an advanced analyst, engineer, designer, or just starting out with analysis.
NX CAE programmes provide precise simulation results regardless of the type of test, from static analysis to acoustics. Based on the data obtained, key decisions can be made even at the virtual design stage, without the need for lengthy and costly physical tests.

Integrated numerical analyses
NX CAE is fully compatible with NX CAD software and external applications for virtual analyses LMS Imagine.Lab Amesim or CD- ADAPCO (STAR-CMM+) etc.

NX CAE Capabilities

NX CAE allows you to implement the latest technologies and simulate various scenarios of work of a designed element, mechanism or finished product. The use of virtual analyses will allow for the elimination of design faults and will provide unique information about the product behaviour in real use.

MESHING
NX CAE has a wide range of tools for mesh application on the analysed elements, ranging from 1D meshes, surface meshes and many types of 3D meshes (3D tetrahedral, 3D swept mesh, 3D hybrid mesh, etc.).

IDEALIZED PART
NX CAE has a unique feature that allows you to prepare a model for simulation without changing the original CAD file. The idealized part is all the time associative with the input file.

ASSEMBLY FEM
The simulation tools of NX CAE enable the user to take a unique approach to the creation of assemblies analysis in which many occurrences of the same parts are used. It is possible to use the same mesh file for all instances of the part and thus reduce the time of calculation and subsequent modification.

INNOVATIVE LICENSING SYSTEM – TOKENS
Simcenter 3D has a unique token-based licensing system. It enables flexible use of a wide spectrum of available analyses without the need to buy individual licenses for each module.

SYNCHRONUS TECHNOLOGY
The Synchronous Technology included in each NX CAD/CAE/CAM package enables direct editing of 3D and 2D files originating from any other CAD system.

POLISH VERSION
The entire suite of NX CAx solutions has a Polish language version of the interface.

MODULES
NX CAE has special applications for appropriate types of simulations, e.g. for static, thermal, flow, kinematics and dynamics analyses or plastic injection analysis, etc.

NX CAE Configuration

NX CAE has a number of modules that can be flexibly configured and extended in order to provide the customer with software tailored to his needs.

NX STRESS WIZARD & NX VIBRATION WIZARD
Each version of NX CAD software has integrated NX CAE tools for static analysis and natural frequency testing of a single solid object.

SIMCENTER 3D
Simcenter 3D is a comprehensive tool for performing numerical analyses based on the NX NASTRAN solver. The solution integrates many computational disciplines and plays the role of Pre and Post. It allows you to carry out static and nonlinear analyses, natural frequencies, etc. for parts and assemblies.

NX THERMAL
The module for thermal calculations integrated in the NX CAE software enables you to carry out complicated thermal problems. In this module, the user may analyse thermal phenomena varying in time or simulate cyclical processes.

NX FLOW
The module extends analytical capabilities of NX CAE tools by flow analysis (CFD). It enables the user to simulate windmills, various hypotheses of turbulence process or analysis combined with thermal analysis.

NX MOTION
The NX Motion module is a tool enabling creation and calculation of kinematic or dynamic simulation in parts and assemblies. It provides a wide range of possibilities to connect components to each other and allows you to add forces, dampers, gears, pinions, springs and 3D contact to the analysis in order to simulate the operation of mechanisms in the best possible way.

NX LAMINATES COMPOSITES
An add-in that allows you to create a material as a laminate or composite and use it in the type of analysis you choose. The module allows the detection of phenomena such as delamination or damage to the inner layer, etc.

NX REXPONSE DYNAMICS
The module extending the scope of NX CAE with the possibility of simulating the response of analysed elements to events such as impact, random vibrations or excitation, etc.

MOLDEX 3D
Add-on for the simulation of the plastic injection process, taking into account the injection point, relevant parameters of the injection process or cooling of the moulded part.

FIBERSIM
An additional NX CAE module that allows for a precise process of designing a composite material taking into account the distribution of material layers on the 3D geometry. The module reduces the time of introducing changes by up to 95% and ensures compliance with the specifications and technical standards for the designed composite.

Within the scope of the NX CAD/CAM package, we provide you with:
